Grounded from two Angles
Grounded from Both Angles is an exploration of perspective and variation in format. It explores both the perspective of the photographer and the subject by switching from a standard 35mm frame to a fully exposed section of the same film stock. To achieve this effect an Amiflex 120mm TLR camera was converted to accept 35mm film stock. Due to the larger side of the medium format stock when 35mm film is loaded, the camera exposes the entire negative, stretching past the sprocket holes on the film and creating a more immersive and engaging image.
